You can configure a WiFi Adapter to work with a pre-existing wireless network for Windows XP. The WiFi adapter allows a user to connect to an Internet netowork without the use of wires.
Assuming the WiFi adapter has been installed properly (this usually involves plugging the adapter into a laptop PCI slot or a USB port and letting Windows detect the device), access the adapter properties by clicking "Start," then click on "Control Panel."
I’ve got debian installed onto my beagleboard rev C and I’m trying to use the UWN200 as my wifi adapter. I’m trying to configure hostapd as a hotspot like others seem to be in this thread. Darek, can you explain how to get this adapter (UWN200) to work with hostapd?
