Headplay toys is taking pre-orders for this kick ass rendition of Popeye the Sailor Man. The statue is 12 inches tall and limited to 500 pieces, so they are being sold on a first come, first served basis. As you can see, this take on Popeye is probably not what E. C. Segar had in mind back in 1929. This Popeye probably sat in a bar, ate a can of spinach (without even opening the can), and snapped a man's spine in half for calling him ugly.
Headplay Toys is releasing a “realistic” take on Popeye the Sailor as a 12″ figurine. Limited to just 500 pieces, the figurines are reportedly not articulated, but pretty badass looking all the same.
