The Pacific Salt C91 knife from Spyderco is built specifically for those that spend time in and around water. It is equipped with a hollow-ground rust-free H-1 blade with a plain edge and satin finish. The handle is yellow FRN, so it is easy to spot, and the internal steel parts are treated making them impervious to rust and pitting. The Pacific knife is similar in size to Spydercos bestselling Endura model but with a more rounded tip.
I found this $1 knife at my local Wal-Mart. Since it's only a dollar my expect ions were low of this knife from the get go. To save money they did cut many corners to bring down the price. There are no washers to help in the blade deployment, the plastic handle feels cheap and has no purchase. The thumb stud is not ambidextrous and the pocket clip is not a high quality metal that will fatigue with time. Overall a cheap knife, but for a dollar what can you really expect. I think you should avoid this knife and spend a few dollars more and get a much better knife.
